Body and material

The insert weighs 374g, measures 15.5cm overall and has a 14cm channel. It is a muted corn-yellow cylinder with little sculptural detail. A matte outer texture helps prevent slipping and provides a comfortable grip.

The material is resilient and stretches, but only with considerable force. Oily residue is limited, and odor is most noticeable when the package is first opened. The experience section assigns it -0.5 on a personal firmness scale. It does not flatten readily like a very soft material: after compression it noticeably tends to recover its cylindrical shape, yet it remains easier to squeeze than a firm material.

Five groups of large elements

The channel contains five groups of large structures. The third group is conical; the others use triangular block-like forms. Small details in the sample were well formed, with no obvious damage or bubbles. This describes the examined sample, not proven long-term durability.

Meanwhile, the material is not firm enough to preserve the full impact of the large blocks. Their edges feel softened, while the channel still feels hollow, as though an air cushion separates its surface from contact. Several grip adjustments failed to produce a close wrap in the reported test.

The source heading “0 enclosure” is an emphatic description, not a separate standardized subscore. The reviewer contrasts this sparse layout with Ligre's earlier, more densely arranged large structures, which had not produced the same problem.

Conclusion

The 2-star recommendation reflects an unsuccessful combination of structure and material. Molding is tidy, the grip surface useful and the large features distinctive, but gaps and rebound undermine contact and edge definition. It is poorly suited to a preference for tight, continuous enclosure.
